The design incorporates the power-valve 'pin' that is much larger and made as part of the centre blade meaning that it is impossible for the pin to fall into the cylinder, treated with a hard, self lubricating, ultra low friction coating.

In some of our tests we monitored a 6hp increase with good mid-range stability on a standard motor. Results may vary depending on your
state of tune and condition of current valves & ports etc.

Bit the bullet after a pin broke on the standared one. They are alot better than standared also cheeper than a new top end. Im not sure what sort of gains you get on a standared engine,but all I have done is pipes air fillter small bit of top end work and was on dyno at 66bhp
My old powervalves were worn so I fitted solid, one piece items. Bike was horrible to ride, no good up hills in tight corners, and impossible in traffic. Purchased some cougar red items, and in combination with arrow exhausts and af1 air filter it was dynoed at 66.46 hp. All low rev issues are gone, all tight, steep hill corner issues are gone, all traffic issues are gone. The cougar red valves picked up an extra 3 hp over the solid ones. The bike (1997 RS250) is beautiful to ride and the power is brutal for a 250 2 stroke, I couldn't be happier.
