WELDING: As you may know, the replating company I use, stopped welding cylinders. I have since set up to weld them myself here at TTW. Cost varies depending on how bad they are so an assessment is required. Max £50. The major issue is time. The cylinders must have the plating removed first then be returned to me for welding so a significant time penalty is incurred for any cylinder in for welding.

Different levels of repair are charged for their complexity. Stripping a cylinder takes time and requires special tools. TTW is able to provide these services as required.
Any old parts removed will be re-fitted to your exchange cylinder provided they can be re-used. Occasionally studs break or water spigots are too badly corroded. In these cases, TTW will contact you to advise. TTW carries out this work at the customer's risk.
Exchanged cylinders are plated and honed to standard specification. TTW will attempt to identify any issues before dispatch, however, it remains the customer's responsibility when assembling an engine to check clearances and fitment in accordance with the Suzuki Workshop Manual. If you require the cylinder matching to a piston please send it in the box or purchase from TTW at the same time. TTW strongly advises this for best performance and results
TTW will without quibble exchange a cylinder prior to assembly should you discover a defect. However, TTW will not refund for a replated cylinder once it has been fitted to an engine.
Should your cylinder require work not paid for, you will be contacted for payment or you may elect to have the original cylinder returned and a full refund (minus P&P) will be given.
A cylinder strip is charged to remove any or all parts that need to be removed for replating. These are Power-Valves and associated components & Threaded Studs. TTW will remove free of charge the bush in the blind hole, water spigot and oil valve.
However TTW is not responsible for any damage caused removing items that subsequently need replacing, especially corroded spigots.
Due to the majority of customers choosing the Ceramic 2000 coating we are currently only offering this type.
